MY Bharat Platform Crosses 3 Crore Youth Registrations in Under 3 Years

The Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat) initiative has achieved a remarkable milestone, surpassing three crore registered young participants in less than three years since its launch, marking one of the fastest-growing youth engagement platforms in the country.

Launched by the Government of India under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, MY Bharat was envisioned as a unified digital platform to connect young Indians with opportunities in skill development, community service, leadership training, and nation-building activities. Officials associated with the initiative described the three-crore figure as a landmark achievement that reflects the growing enthusiasm among India’s youth to participate in structured development programmes.

Since its inception, the platform has served as a bridge between the government and young citizens, offering them access to volunteering opportunities, career guidance, entrepreneurship support, and participation in flagship national programmes. The rapid pace of registrations, officials noted, demonstrates the increasing trust young people are placing in government-led initiatives that offer tangible pathways for personal and professional growth.

Authorities highlighted that the platform’s reach extends across both urban and rural areas, ensuring that youth from diverse socio-economic backgrounds have equal access to its offerings. The initiative has been positioned as a critical component of India’s broader vision to harness its demographic dividend, with a significant proportion of the country’s population falling within the youth age bracket.

Officials further stated that crossing the three-crore mark within such a short span underscores the effectiveness of digital outreach strategies and grassroots mobilisation efforts undertaken to popularise the platform. Plans are reportedly underway to further expand the scope of MY Bharat by introducing additional modules focused on emerging skills, digital literacy, and civic engagement.

The milestone has been welcomed by stakeholders in the youth development sector, who view it as a positive indicator of the platform’s role in shaping a more empowered and participative generation. With continued momentum, officials expect registration numbers to rise further as awareness about the initiative spreads to more corners of the country.
